TACT 2022 Treasury Management Summit was held with intense participation.

For the first time in Turkey, under the roof of an association, more than 700 corporate treasury and finance professionals came together at the TACT 2022 Treasury Management Summit.

In our event, which was attended by a large number of participants, our valuable speakers shared their vast knowledge on many important issues such as sustainability, crypto currency , digitalization and portfolio management.
We left our event, which was enjoyable and joyous , behind with laughter on the stage of Dear Kaan Sekban.

We were guests on the “Paratoner” program on EKOTÜRK TV.

Our Association President Barış Gökalp participated in the “Paratoner” program in which topics such as the stock market, economy, and finance were discussed.

We are bringing together corporate treasury and finance professionals for the first time under the same roof for an association in Turkey at the T-ACT 2022 Treasury Management Summit.

We met with EACT (European Association of Corporate Treasurers) and PCTA (Polish Corporate Treasurers Association) in Warsaw. We thank PCTA for hosting the meeting, which was a great opportunity to engage with treasury managers’ associations in other countries, introduce our association and apply for EACT.
We also thank the EACT Board of Directors for welcoming us.

As T-ACT, our participation in international platforms will continue.

With the aim of having collaboration with all the stakeholders of the corporate treasury world, our association signed a coordination agreement with Blockchain Turkey Platform!

Regarding the agreement signed, Barış Gökalp, the President of the Association stated: “The Blockchain technology will profoundly change our business manners in every sphere of our individual and corporate lives. We will follow the technological developments in the area of Corporate Treasury Management more actively with this agreement, signed by and between our association and Blockchain Turkey, a platform making efforts for efficient use of Blockchain technology in Turkey.”

Our Global and Local Risks Webinar in the New Period Done!

As Corporate Treasury Managers’ Association (T-ACT), we hosted Prof. Dr. Burak Saltoğlu, an Academic Member of Boğaziçi University and the Founding Partner of RiskTürk, in the second part of the webinar series; ” Colors of the Treasury”.

We evaluated the risks posed by the new world, discussed the measures required to be taken by companies against global and local risks, and answered the questions from participants in our webinar,  moderated by Barış Gökalp, the T-ACT President and Şişecam Global Treasury Director.

First Webinar Done!

As Corporate Treasury Managers’ Association (TACT), we hosted Sant Manukyan, İş Yatırım International Markets Director, in our first webinar.

We evaluated the dynamics of the new world, addressed what’s next in both economic and social terms, and answered the questions from participants in our webinar, led by Barış Gökalp, the TACT President and Şişecam Global Treasury Director.

We held our first meeting with the founders of Corporate Treasury Managers’ Association at the Boğaz Restaurant.

Our meeting was attended by Barış Gökalp, Şişecam Global Treasury Director and the President of the Association, Mehmet Levent Coşkuner, a partner of ELC Strategy that carrying out leading projects in Turkey and globally in the field of treasury digitalization, Batur Asmazoğlu, İnci Holding CFO, Fatih Şeker, Peak Consultancy Financial & Tax Advisor, Alper Ünlü, Er-Bakır Elektrolikit Bakır Mamülleri Accounting Manager, Dr. İmran Emre Karagözlü, Coca Cola Group Treasury Manager, Banu Şahin, Gamak Makina Sanayi Head of Treasury & Finance, and Nazım Yaprak, TAV Airports Holding Treasury and Financial Affairs Director.

Our agenda at the Board meeting was the mission of our recently founded association, and the activities to be carried out throughout the year. We also started planning the Treasury Managers event, which is planned to be held in November 2022.

Board meetings of the Association will continue to be held regularly every month and as the Treasury Managers’ Association, we will assume significant roles in the field of Treasury Management and Finance in Turkey.
